CBBS supported the preparation of the “EU Day on the Faculty of Kinesiology”, March 19, 2013
The Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb, started the preparation for the forthcoming Croatian accession to the European Union, expected July 1, 2013, in the cooperation with the consulting and EU lobbying company CBBS from Zagreb. At the end of 2013, CBBS prepared for the Faculty marketing & development study “The Faculty of Kinesiology and European Integration,” with an emphasis on EU programmes in the field of education, science, sports, health and physical activity, as priority areas of interest for the Faculty of Kinesiology.
The year began with an intensive preparation of teachers, staff and students of the Faculty of Kinesiology for Croatian entry into European integration. The Faculty of Kinesiology, supported by CBBS, successfully prepared an event entitled “EU Day on Kinesiology”, that took place at the premises of the Faculty, March 19, 2013.
In the frame of the event, Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Croatia and other Croatian institutions presented to the students, teachers and guests of the Faculty of Kinesiology, promotional and informational material about European Union, its programmes and EU funding opportunities. There was also a panel discussion and presentation taking place in the conference room at the Faculty, with speakers and participants from the EU Delegation in Croatia, the representatives of the Croatian ministries (MZOS, MRRFEU) and other governmental institutions agency AMPEU (Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes) and HIT (Croatian Institute of Technology).
