Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER) announced co operation with partner institutions from Krakow, Poland. In the frame of annual ceremony, November 25, 2011, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), the one of the leading institution in SE Europe with the mission to emphasis the importance of new technologies, electrical engineering and computing for the well-being of Croatia and its citizens, has announced the signing of the Protocol of the co operation with partner institutions from Krakow (Poland) Jagiellonian Centre of Innovation Ltd (JCI) and Kraków Technology Park (KTP).
CBBS as consulting and lobbying company supported Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER) in this project and was involved in the preparation of the Protocol. The future co operation between the partners will be based on the development of high technology and transfer of the knowledge from universities to business community, by the support of research and scientific potential of Krakow and Zagreb universities and scientific institutes. The co operation will be focusing on innovation development, technology transfer and technology commercialization.
The partners will involve in the co operation other public and private stakeholders from Krakow and Zagreb i.e. from Poland and Croatia, like: entrepreneurs, universities, government institutions, regional development agencies, public and governmental agencies, research institutes, local government and venture capitalists.
The co operation between FER and partners from Krakow is planning first joint activities in 2012 and will be supported by Trade and Investment Promotion Section at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and CBBS.
